Job description
- The Risk & Insurance Manager is responsible for the global insurance programs (property, liability, D&O and marine cargo) and is director of the corporate insurance captive.
- The Risk & Insurance Manager reports to the Head Global Treasury.
Requirements
Educational background:
- University degree (finance or equivalent)
Professional experience:
- 5 plus years of practice across different functions in the P&C insurance industry;
- At least 5 years experience in a similar function at a multinational company or broker;
- Broad industry network with key stakeholders (brokers, corporate risk managers, insurance companies);
- Track record in dealing with complex transactions.
Technical skills:
- Solid understanding of key insurance lines and non-traditional solutions;
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and capital markets;
- Understanding of Dutch and global industrial insurance markets, market trends and dynamics.
Leadership skills:
- Entrepreneurial mindset and focus on execution;
- Pragmatic, “can do” mentality;
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
